PART 1: We can never measure up to her perfection and we don’t need to

“Why can’t I ever measure up to the Proverbs 31 woman?” you may have cried out or wondered countless times in despair. I know I have.

The proverbs 31 woman has no name, she is just super woman EVERYTHING!
From a woman to a businesswoman to a wife to a mother, she is just perfect and it seems she does all this with very little sleep too! The Bible says in verse 15 that she “gets up while it is still night”!

The good news is, you were never meant to measure up to her perfection in the first place, so relax, breath, get some sleep, you’re in good company!

We can never be exactly like her but we can be the aspects of her in each of our unique and individual roles God has specifically purposed for us as women, sisters, friends, daughters, wives, mothers and more.

You see we are called up be like Jesus but God knew as His daughters we would complain and be like “God, but Jesus wasn’t married and Jesus wasn’t a women and Jesus didn’t have children, so how are we supposed to know how to be like Him as far as all the things affecting women are concerned?!” So in His infinite love and wisdom He gave us the perfect example of a woman that represents Christlikeness for us to follow as women and all the roles we play. How amazing is that?!

From my own study and revelation of God’s Word, I have come to realise that He never expected us to measure up completely, only His Son is perfect. You see if we could measure up completely, we would never need Him. So by faith, through Him, when we believe, we must and can transform into Christlikeness by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Perfection was never required, faithful transformation is.

Phew!! Thank you Jesus!

2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Wooow, what an amazing revelation. It is really difficult to be superwoman, and wear you out as well lol. I love this. Thank you Aunt Megan.
